Black Friday: Crazy or Not?

Lots of people were making fun of me last week because I love Black Friday Deals. If I can get something for free, heck yeah, I'm there... sometimes even if I don't need it or can't use it (example: dog food... I'll get it free with coupons and pass it along to family and friends.)  But checking out these Cyber Monday Deals made me realize... I saved a BUTT LOAD last week. And I can't resist but to add up my deals. I'm using Amazon.com to price my stuff.  Here I go... I'm actually excited about this. I'm such a nerd.

I paid $99 for this on ToysRUs.com last week.
You can purchase it for $199 from Amazon.com... or $157 new from a seller

(Yes I do know that I could find better deals by scouring the web, but that wouldn't help make my point, so I'm not doing that. )

  1. Nice that you got deals. Still not worth it to me. I would rather pay more than deal with Crazy People.

  2. plus you didn't have to pay shipping and handling.. or take the chance on getting into trouble answering a Craig's list ad. so IF you were going to buy all that eventually anyway, it can't be beat. but for SOME people, they think they gotta buy it because it's on sale and it's not really anything they would have bought if it had NOT been on sale. THAT'S where I was tempted. "Oh! Harry Potter 7 part 2 for 9.99... I should get it!" "Were you going to buy it?" "No... but it's on SALE!!" LOL. Kudos for having discipline. Heavenly Father OBVIOUSLY blessed your efforts and kept you safe that night! Lucky girls! Should you have posted about the games? Aren't you going to spoil Chris' Christmas?? ;p

  3. Sounds like you've got some great deals. You really didn't miss out on anything by not scouring the web. I was totally disappointed.

  4. Tiff, He already knew, I had to call him to make sure he didn't have those games already. :/ There's no surprises for us.

  6. I think certain people are hardwired with the patience to do things like Black Friday. Nice job on the savings. I tend to do most shopping online so I don`t have to get out as much and listen to Christmas Music everywhere but that`s my thing. Wish I had more patience to coupon and do Black Friday, etc..
