Fired, Fired, Fired, Fired, Fired

No, Donald Trump did not fire me.  But the YMCA did.

I'm having some mixed emotions at the moment, I'm sad for all the people who have become great friends to me and my girls, but I'm relieved to be able to do what I want, when I want, with the girls.  It's a mixed blessing.

As far as $$$ goes... We're okay.  So that's definitely a HUGE blessing.

It was a blessing to sleep in this morning instead of waking up a 5 to go open.

And I'm probably going to spend the day at my mom's and dad's so that's another blessing.

All in all, I think this is a good thing.  Most times, we don't know why things happen.  I think this is God telling me to slow it down though, and take care of my girls and my family.  So that's what I'm going to do!  And I'm excited to be able to dedicate all my time to that again!

  1. yeah.. that's a blow to the confidence. but i think you are handling it that right way. as long as you can afford to be home with your girls, enjoy it. my cousins are pretty jealous of me that i don't have to work. we don't have the newest phones [like they do], i don't carry a coach purse [like they do] and my hubby's nicest brand of clothes is old navy, but we are together and happy. that's what matters. Gosh, I just love the teachings of the church. Gives such a wonderful perspective to living life. And I just love reading your blog. Now that you have all this free time I can't wait to see what new things you make and ideas you express here. =D
